The Vape Aware Database

These are the vapes that have been tested with us, and we’ve brought them together in one place. It allows you to see what is in your vape and check its safety. For manufacturers, it provides a transparent way to demonstrate compliance, highlight safe products, and build trust with retailers and end users.

The more products we test, the more results we can share with you – making it easier to stay informed and confident about what you’re using.

Please note – products in the database are assessed for compliance against the Tobacco & Related Products Regulations (TRPR). Some products were purchased and tested prior to the ban on single-use vapes introduced under the Environmental Protection (Single-Use Vapes) Regulations 2024, which came into effect in June 2025. Compliance with TRPR does not necessarily mean a product complies with the single-use vape ban, as the ban is governed by separate environmental legislation.

Relative Risk Prediction Database
The risk prediction tool enables consumers to identify products which are less harmful than others. At Vape Aware, one of our primary goals is for people to be able to make safe choices by predicting the risk of each vape tested. Using cigarettes and other tobacco products can cause many health issues, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, respiratory illness, reproductive problems and addiction. We use a model called the Risk Prediction Tool, which estimates the number of people out of 100,000 who will develop cancer as a result of using a particular product.

The Prediction Tool consider the most common and highest risk constituents found in vape products and their aerosols. The model will assume that:

Taking into consideration the the Inhalation Unit Risk (IRU) of chemicals, the model will provide the cancer risk prediction for that particular product on the database.
