What Are Your Responsibilities
Under the Tobacco and Related Producted Regulation (TRPR), if you are re-branding white label e-cigarettes or are importing them from outside of the UK you are classed as a producer.
This regulation outlines the responsibilities of producers, which include taking responsibility for the safety and quality of your products under expected conditions of use. If you have a reason to believe that any of your products are unsafe, TRPR states that you must take appropriate corrective action, including modifying or withdrawing the product from the market. You are also required to collect information on any adverse health effects of your products, make sure the leaflets and labelling is correct and ensure that any notification of the product is accurate.
