The study focuses on key compliance factors, including nicotine content, fill volume and presence of label elements. Each product undergoes detailed testing to verify its alignment with legal and regulatory requirements. This robust approach ensures that the results reflect the realities of the market while identifying potential gaps in compliance.

In laboratory testing conducted by Inter Scientific, recent results reveal that 80% of samples exceeded the UK’s legal nicotine limit of 20 mg/ml, 33% contained more than 2 ml of e-liquid, and 78% of products marketed as 0% nicotine were found to contain nicotine. In total, 77% of products tested were non-compliant with UK regulations.
